• Congratulations to The Academy senior Ladies team!
  The Academy senior Ladies team who were crowned all Ireland champions yesterday. But a very special mention must go to our Star past pupil Orlagh Gavin who put in a dazzling display to win player of the match in the final.

• THE BIG MATCH - P1 V P2
  Never mind the visit of the ETI inspectors in Kingsisland this week, the real highlight of the week, was the eagerly awaited big match between P1 v P2. This game had everything from raw passion to sheer determination.
• Gaa Friday
  Gaa Friday concluded today with a hurling/camogie session with new coach Colum Dillon. Colum hails from Lavey in Co Derry.
• Miss Devlin
  Last week saw Miss Devlin leave the school after 10 weeks in P7 in her final teaching placement. The children were taking part in a 'StarBooks' Reading Challenge;
• P7 Boys win Tri-county Section
  Well done to our P7 boys winning their Tri-county soccer section in DUY Loughview Sports centre against 5 other participating schools. That qualifies our school for the Mid Ulster Schools in the MUSA Cookstown next month
• 
  Primary 6 had an action packed day with Emma from the Amma centre today. As part of our WAU topic, we have been learning all about Titanic and completing various pieces of artwork.
• P1 Flower Shop
  The P1 girls and boys took learning outside the classroom today and worked together to plant a variety of flowers for their P1 Flower Shop.
