News Stories DAIRY COUNCIL NI On Friday our Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils took part in a workshop with a special visit from the Dairy Council, who focused on food nutrition and how to make sure you keep an active lifestyle. Primary five visit The Argory Today Primary 5 made the short journey to The Argory for a fun filled day of exploring, learning and of course playing!
However the undoubted highlight was captaining The Heron on The River Blackwater. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION Congratulations to our P4 Girls & Boys, who celebrated their 1st Holy Communion this morning in St Patrick's Church, Clonoe. They were a credit to themselves, their families and Kingsisland PS. Festival of football Kingsisland were delighted to join in a festival of football down at the Shore today as they attended a 7-a-side tournament hosted by our near neighbours Aughamullan. P1 visit St. Colmcille's Church ⛪ As part of our Grow in Love Religion programme, our P1 children enjoyed a special visit to St. Colmcille’s Church. 500km FUN RUN Today marked a truly memorable day for our entire school community as we came together for our 500km Whole School Fun Run. CONGRATULATIONS FIONN. A super well done to our past pupil, Fionn, who captained N. Ireland to win the Plate final at The Nations Cup International football tournament held in Spain this week. WELL DONE SHEA Congratulations to another Kingsisland past pupil, Shea, on an outstanding achievement in the US Kids Golf tournament! WELL DONE BRIAN ÓG Super well done to our past pupil Brian Óg on making the team Northern Ireland Powerchair Soccer team after smashing his trials! THE BEATING HEART OF OUR SCHOOL❤️ We’ve got our playground back… and it feels like home again. After months of renovation works in the original school building, it was a special moment this week to see our playground come back to life.
