News Stories P2/3 EASTER CUP Lots of goals, laughs, and great teamwork from our P2 and P3 players at today’s Easter Cup! From the first to last whistle, they gave it their all, and in the end the Blues were victorious, with cheers from all opponents! DERRYTRESK GAA WINNERS 2025 3 IN A ROW CHAMPIONS!
Big congratulations to our Primary 6 & 7 football team who won the Doire Treasc Fir an Chnoic Primary Schools’ Cup today, amazingly for the 3rd year in a row! GAA for P4,P5 & P6 Today Primary 4/5 and Primary 6 battled it out for bragging rights on the GAA pitch! Two great games were keenly contested between the boys and girls down at Derrytresk. Communion art with Mrs Lowe Primary 4 have been busy preparing for First Holy Communion over the past few weeks. BEST WISHES MASTER MCGARRITY Everyone in Kingsisland gave Master McGarrity a great send off today as he prepares for his wedding, next week, to his beautiful fiancé Lucy. The last STEM Session for Primary 5. All good things must come to an end! Today marked the final STEM session alongside the experts at Mallaghans and MEGA. We finished creating our conveyor belts and added some last minute improvements and enhancements. Creative Literacy workshop ✍️ The Primary 7 class recently had the pleasure of learning from the writing experience of author Declan Carville. World Maths Day 2025 ✖️➗ Shapes, shapes and more shapes! Musuem on the move with Primary 4. Today was Primary 4’s turn to take part in an online Space workshop with Musuem on the Move. This linked in so well with our World Around Us topic of Space. Primary 5 STEM session with Mallaghans and MEGA This morning, Primary 5 continued their STEM sessions alongside the experts from Mallaghans and MEGA.
