  Today the girls and boys in Kingsisland, paired with other Primary Schools around the country to participate in the nation wide ‘Daily Mile’ event

  On Thursday, Alan from Annaginny Fishery & Park Farm visited Kingsisland with Ally the owl, Spikey the bearded dragon and an unnamed tortoise!

• Cycling Proficiency Training.
  This week is the beginning of the P7s doing their Cycling Proficiency Training.
• Primary 2- Under the Sea Topic
  Primary 2 worked very industriously to design, build and decorate boats made from recycled materials for our Under the Sea topic.
• Primary 5 harvested the first of our produce from the school garden
  In the hope of creating some rad-dishes, today we harvested the first of our produce from the school garden. The children were very careful when harvesting radishes and then proceeded to plant some more radish
• World Around Us topic on Farming,
  As part of our World Around Us topic on Farming, the P4 children left the classroom behind to enjoy a nature walk today.
• primary 5 recreated the digestive system
  Having learned about the digestive system during our Literacy topic on the human body, today primary 5 recreated the digestive system using a wide range of materials.
