News Stories Primary 1 had a ‘beary’ good time on their adventure today! As part of our World Around Us topic ‘Off We Go’, we have been learning all about different journeys we take, methods of transport we can use and what items we need to take with us. Kingsisland does the Daily Mile Today the girls and boys in Kingsisland, paired with other Primary Schools around the country to participate in the nation wide ‘Daily Mile’ event Alan from Annaginny Fishery & Park Farm visited Kingsisland On Thursday, Alan from Annaginny Fishery & Park Farm visited Kingsisland with Ally the owl, Spikey the bearded dragon and an unnamed tortoise! This was a terrific outdoor learning experience Cycling Proficiency Training. This week is the beginning of the P7s doing their Cycling Proficiency Training. Primary 2- Under the Sea Topic Primary 2 worked very industriously to design, build and decorate boats made from recycled materials for our Under the Sea topic. Primary 5 harvested the first of our produce from the school garden In the hope of creating some rad-dishes, today we harvested the first of our produce from the school garden. The children were very careful when harvesting radishes and then proceeded to plant some more radish World Around Us topic on Farming, As part of our World Around Us topic on Farming, the P4 children left the classroom behind to enjoy a nature walk today. primary 5 recreated the digestive system Having learned about the digestive system during our Literacy topic on the human body, today primary 5 recreated the digestive system using a wide range of materials.
