News Stories P5 Art Attack P5 were delighted to combine Literacy, World Around Us and Art today as we undertook an arts and crafts activity to evaluate effective procedural writing. Odd Socks Day 2023 Well done to all our classes who have been participating in lots of discussions and activities to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Week, which culminated today in our Odd Socks Day. ODD SOCKS DAY VIDEO We had great fun today dancing to Andy and the Odd Socks theme song "Make Some Noise" for this years Anti-Bullying Week.
There was absolutely plenty of "NOISE" in Kingsisland today 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Blast off 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Blast off! Armagh Rhymers Today the children of St. John's Kingsisland were treated to a feast of ceol Agus craic as The Armagh Rhymers landed on the shores of Lough Neagh. With the assistance of Primary 5 we all enjoyed an artistic retelling of the legend of Fionn MacCumhaill. DIWALI - FESTIVAL OF LIGHT Primary 1, 2 & 3 performed a fantastic assembly celebration for Diwali, the Indian Festival of Light today for everyone in Kingsisland. Firefighter Gerard visits Primary 5. Today Primary 5 welcomed Firefighter Gerard for an excellent and informative talk on fire safety in the home. Primary 6 County Blitz. Primary 6 headed to MUSA this morning to take part in a Tyrone County Blitz.
